Join us for our first Network-Centric Resources‘ Online Discussion, our series featuring resource developers sharing lessons learned. Soraya Okuda will be discussing the process of iteration to develop EFF’s Security Education Companion.

Soraya Okuda is a designer passionate about education and media production. She led the project development of EFF’s Security Education Companion teaching resource, and designs the educational materials for it. She is excited to support EFF’s efforts in privacy, conveying technical concepts to beginners, and creating accessible materials for targeted and under-resourced groups. Previously, she was an English teacher to elementary school students in Taiwan, and was the development director for a nonprofit operating a secondary school in South Sudan.
